This is our spearmint plant that is growing over the sides of the herb box but the stems are very long.

Habitat:

This is our spearmint plant in our herb box that gets mostly sun, but shade from a large tree for most of the morning hours.

This is for a 5th-grade group at Glenn O Swings (The Black Beetles). These are their questions based on their observations of the spearmint plant: 1. What is the purpose of its flavor? 2. Why are the leaves shaped the way they are?
