Latticed Heath

Chiasmia clathrata

Description:

The latticed heath is a small moth. The wings are white-yellow to white, with four, more or less irregular, brown to brown-black cross bands. Together with the dark winged veins, these form a route pattern.

Habitat:

This species lives in open areas such as meadows.

Yes it's a beautilful bytterfly Brian38. The norwegian name is "rutemåler" after the pattern of small windows and the caterpillar's way of crawling, as if they measuring the ground.
