Spotted Scorpionfish

Scorpaena plumieri

Description:

A large venomous fish that I nearly swam into.

Habitat:

Silty patch reef in the middle keys.

Notes:

Only the symmetry of the tail lobes allowed me to spot it, and keep my girlfriend from going over it.
