Borneo horned frog

Description:

A stocky medium sized to large frog. Legs short and slender.Usually with a wide dark bar on the side ofvthe head below the eye.

Habitat:

Most widely distributed and common species of the genus. Lives in flat to steep rainforest. Calls are a loud honk. Found throughout Borneo, Sumatra and Peninsular Malaysia

Notes:

They calls can be heard from afar but in most areas difficult to spot as they are well camouflaged amongst the leaf litter.
