As Rangers we try to help newcomers understand the way the site works. When a Ranger comments you will see a hat in the comment box.
Correct scientific names are very important in identifying organisms down to species level and only use Genus + species. The Scientific name field is the only reliable identifier and is international in use. The Common names can be very variable and cover multiple species at times and also vary greatly in different languages. To find out more about Scientific naming protocol please visit our blog pages.
When you make a suggestion mobile users in the field will want to verify it thus they will need a link which they can use for verification. They can also accept it and the spotting will be automatically updated with the data you have given them. This action removes the spotting from requiring further research so if you are wrong the spotting will be wrong and may never be corrected.
In addition, many users develop a trust for people who supply good suggestions, while at the same time developing a distrust for users who frequently make incorrect suggestions.
May I now suggest you refer to our FAQs http://www.projectnoah.org/faq and Terms and Conditions http://www.projectnoah.org/terms

It most definitely is not Enchenopa binotata. Please only make one suggestion and ensure you have a valid reference link which can be used to verify the species. If you are not sure please do not use the suggestion box, just put your thoughts into the comments.
