Banded Goby

Amblygobius phalaena

Description:

Also known as Banded Sleeper Goby, Brown-barred Goby, Dragon Goby and Bullet Goby. They feed on small invertebrates, and grow to a length of about 15cm.

Habitat:

Found singly or in pairs on sand, rubble and seagrass areas hovering near their burrows, at depths of 1 to 20m. Widespread in the Western Pacific.
