Description:

A very robust cream-yellow and brown fly-like wasp (fly is a misnomer) with dark clear wings overlapped neatly to tip of abdomen; a distinct shield at top of back with cream and dark brown sections and spot. Dark femurs with light coloured legs. Approx. wing span 40mm.

Habitat:

Near eucalyptus both feed and reproduction. This one on leaf of E. microcarpa.
