Leptospermum coninentale

Description:

A small shrub, to a meter high. Covered in tea-tree like white flowers (1 or 2 plants were pink). The leaves are narrow, needle-like with reddish pointed tip. Leptospermum continentale, commonly known as Prickly Tea-tree, is a shrub species that is endemic to south-eastern Australia. It grows to between 1 and 2 metres high and has narrow leaves that are about 10 mm long and 1 to 3 mm wide. The flowers are white or occasionally pink.

Habitat:

This was growing in wetlands that are dry for part of the year. Seems it can be grown in boggy, damp or well drained, clay, loam or sand.
