Tent Caterpillar Moth - Lappet Moth

Description:

A golden brown hairy Lappet Moth with 2 bands across the forewings. About 1.5 cm in length. Adult moth of the Tent Caterpillar. Probably the Forest Tent Caterpillar. Family Lasiocampidae.

Habitat:

Came to lights at night, semi-rural residential area, San Cristobal de Las Casas, Chiapas, Mexico 2,200 meters.
