Laetiporus
wonderfully bright orange in color, grows in clumps - this particular one is on an old oak tree. This clump is still attached to the tree- the color has changed from this bright orange to a dingy brown. The last two photos are of this same clump of Fungi - which were taken almost two months later on January 10, 2012 (original orange fungi taken on November 24th, 2011.)

Interesting fact: Laetiporus is a genus of edible mushrooms found throughout much of the world. Some species are commonly known as sulphur shelf, chicken of the woods, the chicken mushroom, or the chicken fungus because many think they taste like chicken.
