While this guy is lighter in color like an Andean, I doubt that it is that species due to the rarity of it and it's normal range. I'd bet it is more likely an Greater flamingo. I realize they're usually more pink, but this can be an affect of diet and not finding the proper foods to make it that lovely pink color. There's long been stories of a flamingo hanging out on Longboat Key (a supposed escapee from Sarasota Jungle Gardens - their flamingos are Greater flamingos from Hialeah)...looks like you may have found him!

Could also be a Chilean Flamingo.

But I feel like it is more like an Andean Flamingo since Chileans seem to have a collection of pink/orange feathers near its tail.
