Description:

Dark body with feather tips brown to tan giving the bird a somewhat speckled appearance. Long bill alloaws the bird to reach into suet feeders to get the suet.

Habitat:

Relatively open rural areas and urban areas.

Notes:

This bird was brought to this country and has adapted to living here quite well.
