Crepidotus variabilis
The cap is shell-shaped, white and hairy. The gills are pale creamish
Forest. In a dead tree branch.
I would suggest Schizophyllum Commune, because of the hairy cap, see http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Schizophyll...
Uff when it comes to fungi I honestly have no idea. You may be right, is hard for me to say :-)
Marta - are you sure about the ID? I think it might be a Crepidotus species...I have a similar one: http://www.projectnoah.org/spottings/866...
