Project Noah Nature School
Panthera leo
Lions sleep up to 20 hours a day and are most active at night.
We were fairly close but mostly it was my zoom. I'll see if I can find a photograph of the entire pride to show the distance we were from it.
Did you zoom really close? Or did you come really close?
It was yawning - unfortunately and fortunately.
Was it growling, or was it yawning?
Thank you fran1 and alan1, yes, it does have a big mouth - all the better for eating!
