Description:

The lichen i belive is called Pixie Cup lichen it is 2-3 cm tall, it looks like a mini cup. It has a little woody like stem. The stem is stiff, the center is a hollow area.

Habitat:

Outside there was about 15 cm of snow on the ground. The lichen was about 30 meters away from the road. The lichen was on a old cut down tree stump. There were a few patches of lichen on the stump.
