(Dorsal view). Smoky blue on french grey wings with the blue maximising towards centreline as progressively longer fur. Wingspan approx. 18mm. Antennae segmented with small clubs.

I've fallen in love with these now that I have seen the 'top' view.
The 'common' name is a disservice.
This is the only local lycaenid that is easy to find. What a beautiful photo.
