30mm long; black head, thorax, abdomen; pale yellow legs; bright yellow scuba tank and tubes; very short black antennae with knobs; wings overlapped in rest create two sections of metallic colour - outer halves show deep orange-gold metal glitter flakes under heavy black venation - inner halves show chrome under clear heavy black venation;
On gum leaf (E. microcarpa) in suburban fringe area to dry eucalyptus forest.

Don't know about that martin - can't even ID this one.
I know what you mean with pic2 but I went for the two-tone metallic duco wings.
