We found this lichen was on a tree near Massabesic Middle School, with a lot of trees surrounding that tree. Where we found it was in the "pond area" as we call it because it has a swamp type pond.


I think this is the lichen because, I found many more of the same on that one tree, the texture was all the same and so was the color. I also used Wikipedia and it said that this was the lichen I was looking for.
