Mountain Bluebird

Description:

Thrush family
Males are a sky blue on most of their body with being paler to white on underside and deeper on wings and tail. Females have bluish-tawny brown color and some maybe a pale blue. Some blue will be on the wings,rump and tail. Both will have an eyering. They feed on bugs like Western Bluebirds.

Habitat:

Open areas. These were spotted on dry grass slopes on rolling hills.

Notes:

These migrate and shows up in the same area in the winter.
