It's definitely a great spotting. I actually think these butterflies are far more beautiful than monarchs. Happy spotting!

Oh yeah, I can see the spots on the inner wing, I never did see him with his wings open, thanks! I'm actually kind of excited he isn't a monarch :)

This is actually a Queen butterfly, a close relative of the Monarch. They can be difficult to tell apart when their wings are closed. Learn more here: http://myfloridabackyard.blogspot.com/20...
