Description:

This bird, also known as Eurasian or Western jackdaw, is a passerine mainly black bird belonging to crow family (Corvidae). Some 40 cm in length.

Habitat:

Well adapted to urban setting, it was seen on Friouli islands near Marseille. The bird is gregarious, and a small flock of jackdaws was seen mixed with gulls.
