Predaceous diving beetle

Family = Dytiscidae Not sure of the genus.

Description:

Shiny black oval beetle with large hind legs and fine antennae.

Habitat:

Surprising to many people, this beetle, usually found in water is able to fly long distances.

Notes:

This creature was caught flying into my car.
