Description:

Anas platyrhynchos is the name of the ducks in this pictures. The ducks with the Green beaks are the male and the brown feather duck is the female. The male is about 1/3 larger than the female also.

Habitat:

They are ususally spotted everywhere but mostly in the Northern Hemisphere from North America , Alaska , and Hawaii. They have also been spotted in Japan and Ireland. Anas platyrhynchos are consumers are usually have a lite diet. They are known for eating Beatles, flies, worms, plant life and also and dragonflies.

Notes:

they seemed to travel in groups or twos. they also seemed to travel like a couple would : male and female.

Looks great Jarel. You can change the common name to Mallard duck, since you know what it is now. Do you know if these guys migrate? Interesting that we saw them at the park in the winter time.
