Yes, I'm sure. The massive paratoid glands give this away as a cane toad. A gulf coast toad has very prominent and dark cranial crests, and the paratoid glands are much, much smaller.

Thanks - are you sure? I just posted a third pic which I thought was a cane toad and it looks quite different. Both species seem to have a lot of variation though.
