Wild Cucumber

Echinocystis lobata

Description:

An annual vine that grows in thick climbing patches. Fruit are non edible, about 2" long, have 4 seeds inside. The leaves, however, are delicious lightly stir fried. Large candle like white flower clusters are very fragrent.

Habitat:

Sunny forest edges, fences, brushy areas.
