I'm pretty sure it's variation. The picture here is most similar to the rightmost picture on the second row in the link in my opinion. I'm fairly certain no other moth has the same look as this with the striped legs with orange bases and this overall shape. The other member of the genus, E. albida, is out of range and seems to have fewer spots.

I saw that one SM but couldn't match the spots. They're all over the place. Maybe it's just variation? Even at your link they have different patterns. Well done.
