Notes:

It was January 18th ,2012. Me and my group went to look for Lichen. The temperature outside was about 4ºC out and we were looking in the Temperate deciduous forest. We went outside at about 10:30 am. I looked at the lichen closely and saw that it had fringes on the edge and I also noticed that it wasn’t a whole lichen it is patchy with spaces in between. It looked like a shield guarding the tree so I figured it must be Green-shield lichen.
