Description:

Virginian tiger moths are all white with small black spots on each wing.

Habitat:

Virginian tiger moths are most common in temperate and tropic locations, places that are warm and have plenty of plant life.

Notes:

Before a caterpillar becomes a tiger moth, it is known as the yellow woolybear moth. Tiger moths are a subspecies of Arctiinae, and have over 260 species.
