Two pairs of tentacles, one pair with eyes at tips (see photos), one pair short. Body grey or cream. Shell brown with dark brown streaks and spots

Habitat:

Moist gardens in South Africa

Notes:

Introduced from Europe. I always wonder whether this is the same snail that is offered as a dish (escargots) in restaurants??? I've heard it was introduced into South Africa with the vines from Europe
