Notes:

I have no idea what these are, except that they possibly have something to do with ants as there was an ant on the twigs above them. They are about 7-8cm long and look like hundreds of tiny black sticks held together with gauze or silk. The fourth shot shows the bush they were hanging from.

I have seen black long hairs growing on plants but this one is totally new.
