Description:

Die Schwalben (Hirundinidae) sind eine artenreiche Familie in der Ordnung der Sperlingsvögel (Passeriformes), Unterordnung Singvögel (Passeres). Nicht zu dieser Familie gehören Seeschwalben (Watt- und Möwenvögel). Charakteristisch für die Schwalben ist ihre Anpassung an den Nahrungserwerb in der Luft: Sie erbeuten Insekten im Flug. Sie haben einen schlanken, stromlinienförmigen Körper, und lange, schmale Flügel. Der Schnabel ist kurz, der Rachen kann weit geöffnet werden. Die Füße sind winzig. Viele Arten haben lange Schwänze. Die Familie umfasst 75 Arten. Schwalben sind Zugvögel. Der typisch gegabelte Schwalbenschwanz war für andere Objekte namensgebend.

Nice. Hirundinidae is the name of the family which of course contains many species. For this species, I suggest you look at the suggestion above where a common name and a Scientific name are suggested. Cheers
