Description:

Green plant with heart shaped leaves

Habitat:

Currently living in my house

Notes:

I was given this plant to take care of by a former coworker. Would like to know what it is so I will know if it's poisonous to my baby and/or dog

The leaves on your plant are still in the juvenile stages...as it grows and especially if you let it climb on a limb or bark post the leaves will mature and look more like the picture in the above Wikipedia link.
