Jade Vine

Strongylodon macrobotrys

Description:

Commonly known as Jade Vine, Strongylodon macrobotrys is a woody vine native to the tropical forests of the Philippines. Although this is already being propagated and sold as ornamental plant, the wild population is still threatened by forest destruction.

Notes:

This flower was observed in one of the small chapels in Tagaytay. They are also selling marcotted vines but they always seem to be out of stock.
