This thing was huge! Maybe 2 1/2 inches long! Looks like a flying ant!
I think yours is a Dobsonfly from the genus Corydalus, either Corydalus cornutus, which is much more common or Corydalus texanus. So your location is not very accurate for separating the 2 species, that's why I would go with only the genus name as Corydalus sp.
