Reddish brown fungus, has wrinkles and veins. Slightly gelatinous texture.

Habitat:

Piece of wood in a field near a forest

Notes:

Leafy brain is closely related to a different type of mushroom called Witch's Butter. It is edible, but considered bland, although it is sometimes put in soup.
