Bursaria spinosa ssp. spinosa
Erect shrub usually 2-3m tall but may reach 5m with light foliage and covered in tiny sharp thorns. Fairly sparse in appearance but in late Summer is covered in fragrant, white flowers.
Highly successful plant that now dominates the understory of forests on the Cumberland Plain. Also a weed of pastures in some areas. In sandstone areas it can be found beside streams. Occurs across all eastern states of Australia.
