Greenhouse Frog

Description:

Very small frog species, neither toad nor tree frog

Habitat:

Lives in damp places like under a log or stone. Often found under my "welcome" mat outside my front door. Comes out when it rains.

Notes:

Charming little frog that lives under my welcome mat outside my front door. Not toad nor tree frog. Emerges at night or during rain.

Yes Joseph it looks like a Greenhouse Frog to me.

I dont believe it to be a spring peeper, although very similar. According to the map on the National Geographic link, the range of the spring peeper is not as south in Florida as I am. Or at least not the species they were refering to in that link. I will get some better photos next time I see them. I appreciate your suggestion Shannon, thank you, and will continue to ivestigate the name "spring peeper".
