Hmmm.. Interesting. I thought it looked a little odd for an ant , but it sure fooled me!

I believe you have an ant mimic here. This looks a lot like the nymph of a Broad-headed Bug. They are pretty impressive mimics! http://bugguide.net/node/view/97/bgpage
