An amazing orange-coloured lichen, residing around and above the volcanic steam vents in Rotorua, NZ. It seems to be everywhere, so I assume the warm steam provides the lichen with a warmer humid micro-climate to live in.

Beautiful Lichen! It would be interesting to hear it indeed, the volcanic vents play a part in its appearance there.
