Description:

This is the male. The females wings are mostly brown above and there is a dark band through the eye with a pale creamy cap.

Habitat:

Over lagoon by coast in volcanic semi-desert.

Notes:

This sequence shows him eyeing up his dinner and in the final picture he dives down behind the trees, but he came up with nothing a few moments later.
