Sharp-lobed Hepatica

Hepatica acutiloba

Description:

Identified by its three lobed, pointed leaves with green mottled leaves. In spring it will send up small white and light purple flowers on single stalks.

Habitat:

Found growing in a damp lowland in a shady deciduous forest among fairly thick leaf litter.
