Spotting

Description:

If I've got it right, this would be a Lichen as well, but a different kind of Lichen? I'd be happy for any help with identifying. Thank you!

Unless the pleurota looks and feel different during its ageing, I actually suspect that this one is something else. The feel is totally different from the pleurota. The pleurota feels like paper, this one feels "woodish". There's also a slight difference in colour. And I do think that the two would be more mixed if they were the same, unlike they are now - growing quite separatly with clearly visible borders?

I just have to go down there and have a closer look and take some more pics. That will be tomorrows call. Thank you for your help Lars, I really appreciate it.

The red dots develop somehow like the bloom for flowers/plants as far as I know.
It also might be a Cladonia grayi complex. They are pretty similar.

Ok, so they are the same as the ones with red spots, only older then?

Most likely a pleurota...not 100% sure.
