Anisoptera
I found the shell of a Dragonfly this summer. The Dragonfly starts as a water baby, then the nymph grows larger until one day it climbs a stalk of grass then splits it shell down the back and struggles to get out. Once a full-grown dragonfly it waits for its wings to dry and harden in the sun. Their eyes may have as many as 15,000 lenses. Under the Microscope Image: 1. Compound eyes, 2. abdomen, 3. edge of eye, 4. beats me, 5. eye
Pond. On stalk of grass.
Winter project is use of the microscope
