Giant leopard moth or eyed tiger moth (female)

Description:

White moth with black spots, some solid and some hollow. Legs have black and white bands. Males have a narrow yellow band on the sides.

Habitat:

Can be found across fields, meadows, and forest edges of eastern North America and as far south as Colombia in South America. Caterpillar eats a great variety of plants, such as broadleaf plantains, dandelions, etc.
