Description:

Canário-da-terra ou canário-da-terra-verdadeiro, ave da família Emberizidae. Os filhotes são da cor cinzenta, independente do sexo. Quando adultos, os machos têm cor predominante amarela, principalmente na cabeça com tons avermelhados, e as fêmeas não mudam muito, ficam com um tom cinzento amarelado. Canary ground-or-the-ground canary-True, bird in the Emberizidae family. The pups are gray in color, independent of sex. As adults, males dominated yellow color temperature, especially with red head nd tons, and not as much change females, are yellowish gray with hum.

Habitat:

Colombia, Equador, Venezuela, Peru, Brasil, Paraguai e Argentina. No Brasil, é encontrado no Maranhão, Minas Gerais, Piauí, Ceará, Pernambuco, Bahia, Espírito Santo, Santa Catarina, Rio de Janeiro, Rio Grande do Sul, São Paulo, Paraná, Mato Grosso, Mato Grosso do Sul e Goiás.

Notes:

Ninho encontrado em uma palmeira, no bairro Costeira, Paranaguá / Paraná - Brasil. Nest found on a palm tree in the neighborhood Coastal Paranaguá / Paraná - Brazil.
