Florida Scrub-Jay

Aphelocoma coerulescens


Florida's only endemic bird species! I would guess there were 5 or 6 of them. Vibrant blue and gray bird about the size of a mockingbird. Video of it calling: and one that is a bit clearer hopping around in the tree making smaller chirps:
