Description:

These thorn mimicking treehoppers sit so close to each other, that it is almost impossible to distinguish individuals. For casual observers, they look like real thorns, or some kind of desease of the host plant. I still didn't find their actual ID, but I am pretty sure they belong to the Potnia genus (Homoptera, Membracidae, Membracinae, Hoplophorionini))
