Prunus Pensylvanica

Description:

The Pin Cherry is a small tree or shrub. Its scientific name is Prunus Pensylvanica. Also known as Pin Cherry, Fire Cherry, Bird Cherry, Chokecherry, or Red Cherry. It grows in the Midwest USA. Birds, Insects, and Deer eat its flowers and fruit. It can live from 25 to 40 years and can grow up to 30FT. They bloom in April and May. Their flesh is edible, but nothing else on the plant. It has red and yellow berries, bumpy bark, and little white flowers in Spring and Summer. I hope you enjoyed it! :)

It grows in the Midwest USA and Eastern United States.
