Leuauge celebesiana
Paddy fileds next to two large rivers.
Maximum bugs I witnessed in this paddy fields were glow worms (in the night, the view from the wild elephant watch tower, the field looked like a huge starry night). Other bugs in frequency were moths, followed by dragonflies, darker versions of butterflies, grass hoppers, crickets, etc. They all appear responsible for pollination of the paddy, but these vatieties (some 7-8) of spiders may be against the interest of the farmers! A particular variety set webs along small canals and trapped smaller dragonflies.
Thanks bayucca and Deepti for all the time and effort you put in for the leads.

Looks for me like a Tetragnathidae. There are several genera found in India. We may need the view of the other side to get a safer ID...
Opadometa fastigata or similar?? Leucagae decorata or similar or another genus??
