Description:

A large spread-winged skipper with distinctive markings and long tails. The body and wing bases are iridescent blue-green. Wing Span: 1 3/4 - 2 5/16 inches (4.5 - 6 cm).

Habitat:

Spotted nectaring on lantana at the National Butterfly Center in Mission, Texas.
